Finale of 9th Oriental Color Competition 2022

In order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of LHU establishment (1997 - 2022) and the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the Faculty of Oriental Studies (2002 - 2022), its Executive Committee of the Youth Union - Student Association on December 3 successfully organized the final round of the 9th Oriental Color Competition 2022, with the desire to pay gratitude to the founders and teachers, at the same time to create a useful playground for students to show their artistic talents. 

The finale saw the presence of Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi – Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies, MA.  Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh - Vice Dean cum Head of International Affairs Office, Heads of Departments, lecturers, staff, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union - Association, and more than 200 students.

The panel of judges was made up by Mr. Uechi Mashasige - Director of Live Corporation Co., Ltd; Mr. Kim Kyung Sig - Director of TTC School of Vocational Training and International Cooperation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luan - Representative of Southern Waterborne Transport Service and Labour Export Joint Stock Company (SELA JSC); Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Que - Leader of the Vocal Group of Dong Nai Culture and Arts Intermediate School.

The "Oriental Colors” competition attracted enthusiastic participation from students at all levels. The 13 best performances were selected for the final night. Their styles of performances, diverse investment in costumes, props and talents brought the audience an exciting night and a lot of feelings.

After a responsible working session, the Jury selected most impressive performances to award.

The First prize belonged to the repertoire "Kieu + Hy" performed by the group of students from the Chinese Language Department, class 19DT113.
