LHU students took Third place at BR-VT’s Fisheries Industry Innovation Startup Contest

On December 16 afternoon, the award ceremony of BR-VT’s Fisheries Industry Innovation Startup Contest 2022 took place in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The Contest is a part of the BR-VT’s Innovation Startup Festival 2022 firstly held in order to foster the innovation startup ecosystem in the province.

The BR-VT’ Fisheries Industry Innovation Startup Contest 2022 attracted the participation of projects from many businesses and universities inside and outside the province.

FSOS team from the Faculty of Information Technology, LHU won Third prize at BR-VT’s Fisheries Industry Startup Innovation Contest 2022

Participating in the Contest, LHU had a group of students from the Faculty of Information Technology with the project "Seafarer positioning system to support sea rescue". This project helps solve the problems of sea rescue for fishermen, which was highly appreciated by the Board of Judges.

The Contest also creates many start-up opportunities for all students who directly participate in the projects of universities and enterprises.
