MoU between LHU and NHU

On February 9, 2023, LHU held a meeting with the delegation of Nanhua University (NHU), Taiwan to foster academic cooperation between the two universities.

Attendees from Nam Hoa University were Prof. Tsong Ming Lin – Rector; Prof. Wann Yih Wu – Head of the Institute of Management; Dr. Chun Chun Lin – Head of Office of International and Cross-Strait Cooperation. From LHU, there were Dr. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Vice Rector; MA. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh – Head of Office of International Affairs cum Vice Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; MA. Hoang Tien Dung – Vice Head of Office of International Affairs and related staff.

NHU is a member of the Fo Guang Shan International University Consortium, the country’s first cross-nation university system with a total of 20 undergraduate programs, 24 graduate programs, and 1 doctoral program. At the meeting, the two universities discussed 2+2, 3+2 cooperation programs and student and faculty exchange programs. The meeting took place in an intimate atmosphere and both sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on the student exchange program. Each year, there will be 5 scholarships for students of LHU to study at NHU (free tuition and dormitory). Also at the event, the two sides expressed their desire to continue to implement more joint cooperation programs, faculty exchange on master's and doctoral programs...

Hopefully, the relationship between LHU and NHU will be stronger and more prosperous than ever.
