Exchange program "Study in China" successfully held

LHU in collaboration with 8 leading universities and colleges in Guangdong province, China on December 10 afternoon, 2024 successfully organized the exchange program "Study in China" at the Mira Central Park Hotel in Bien Hoa city.

The event attracted nearly 1,000 students from LHU and high schools in Dong Nai Province. The 8 universities and colleges in Guangdong included Sun Yat-sen University; Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School; Shenzhen University; South China Agricultural University; Guangzhou Huashang Vocational College; Guangzhou City University of Technology; Guangdong University of Foreign Studies; and Southern Medical University.

The event aims to provide valuable information about study opportunities and attractive scholarship programs at colleges and universities in Guangdong, thereby inspiring a passion for learning and opening up new directions for Vietnamese students.

In his opening speech, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector of LHU emphasized “This is a great opportunity for Dong Nai students to access an advanced multidisciplinary education system and a dynamic learning environment in Guangdong. Besides providing valuable scholarship programs, the event contributes to strengthening the Vietnam - China international educational cooperation".

The program featured exchange sessions, study abroad program introduction from school representatives, as well as vibrant cultural activities to enhance understanding and connections.

Earlier that morning, LHU warmly welcomed and met with delegates from universities and colleges in Guangdong, at the same time signing cooperation agreements with Nanning College for Vocational Technology, Guangzhou City University of Technology and Guangdong Hua Shang College.
