LHU and Brother Vietnam expand learning, internship, and career opportunities for students
On May 29, 2026, LHU officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Brother Industries (Vietnam) Ltd., marking a significant step forward in strengthening university–industry collaboration. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to developing highly skilled human resources that meet the evolving demands of the labor market.
Brother Vietnam has been a trusted partner of LHU for many years. Beyond supporting educational initiatives, the Company has consistently provided annual scholarships worth VND 20 million to academically outstanding students, helping motivate and support them in their pursuit of knowledge and professional development.
Real learning, real experience, real career opportunities
One of the most tangible outcomes of this partnership is the opportunity for students to gain hands-on industry experience while still pursuing their studies. During the visit, the LHU delegation met with 11 students from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics who are currently undertaking internships at Brother Vietnam. The students receive a monthly allowance of approximately VND 9 million, while the company covers transportation, accommodation, and living expenses throughout the internship period.
For many of them, the internship is much more than a workplace experience. It provides a valuable opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment, gain exposure to internationally standardized management systems, and develop professional skills while still at university.
Dr. Pham Van Toan, Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, highlighted the benefits of the University's industry-connected education model “From scholarship programs and company visits to paid internships and employment opportunities after graduation, the partnership between LHU and Brother Vietnam has created a comprehensive ecosystem that closely connects education with industry practice. This reflects the University's long-standing commitment to combining academic learning with practical experience, aligning training with industry needs, and enabling students to engage with real working environments from an early stage”.
The newly signed MoU will pave the way for further collaboration in education, internships, recruitment, research, and human resource development. Beyond creating learning and career opportunities for today's students, the partnership also plays a vital role in preparing future graduates to confidently enter both domestic and international labor markets.

Whether through a scholarship, an internship placement, or an experiential visit to a company, new opportunities continue to open for LHU students every day. This is the value that the University strives to deliver to its learners: real learning, real experience, and real career opportunities.
