Prof. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector; Outstanding Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Secretary of the Party Committee; members of the Board of Management; and leaders of the University’s units, faculties, offices, departments, and centers.
Reviewing results and continuing to improve education quality
At the conference, the University reviewed key achievements in education during the 2025-2026 academic year, including teaching organization, academic activities, research, engagement with practical needs, and the achievements of faculty members and students in professional competitions and activities. Based on these results, LHU identified key priorities for the 2026-2027 academic year and orientations toward 2030, focusing on improving curricula, teaching methods, educational organization, and learner quality.
As part of the program, LHU honored and recognized outstanding teams and individuals. The University presented commendations from the People's Committee of Dong Nai City to the LHU-FOF team and coach Doan Duong Quy for winning First prize at the 2026 Vietnam Robot Innovation Competition (Robocon Vietnam 2026), as well as to the CASSEN team for winning Second prize at the 8th “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition.
The University also recognized faculty members who completed their doctoral programs during the 2025–2026 academic year, honored teams and individuals with outstanding achievements in education, and recognized faculty members for outstanding research publications. These achievements continue to strengthen the professional, research, and academic capacity supporting LHU’s educational activities.
Strengthening academic leadership for the 2025-2030 term
As part of the program, LHU also held a ceremony to announce and present appointment decisions for Heads of Programs, Departments, and Divisions for the 2025-2030 term. Rector Lam Thanh Hien presented the appointment decisions and congratulated the faculty members taking on their new responsibilities.
Strengthening the academic leadership team not only recognizes the capabilities and contributions of individual faculty members but also comes with new responsibilities in academic leadership, team coordination, educational organization, and support for learners. This is also part of the University’s preparation of human resources for faculties, departments, and divisions to take a more proactive role in the next stage of development.
As LHU marks 29 years of establishment and development, the achievements of the 2025-2026 academic year provide an additional foundation for the University’s next stage. At the same time, the strengthened academic leadership team for the 2025-2030 term will continue to play a role in connecting, leading, and organizing professional activities across the University’s units.
Building on the foundation established so far, LHU enters the 2026-2027 academic year with new goals, continuing its efforts to improve the quality of education, research, and student development.
