The finale of Dong Nai Innovation Start-up Contest 2021 took place on November 5 at the Department of Science and Technology.
The project "AutoMov wheelchair assist device" carried out by students of LHU's Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics achieved the highest final score in the Dong Nai Innovation Startup Contest 2021
After the preliminary rounds and challenges, six start-up projects were selected including wooden structure photoluminescent panels (by Ho Quoc Dang Khanh, Ngo Nguyen Phat Dat, Dao Nguyen Ngoc Tram), pomelo soap (by Bui Thi Thuy); fermented red flesh dragon fruit (by Ngo Thanh Long), Xao Tam Phan (Paramignya trimera) herbal tea (by Nguyen Van Khon), products from bananas (by Bui Thi Nguyet Thuy) and AutoMov wheelchair assist device (by Dinh Tuan Anh, Pham Duc Nam, Vo Thai Sinh, Dang Ngoc Tai, Kha Pham Truc Linh from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, LHU).

At the finale, representatives of projects presented their ideas, then answered questions raised by the judges. The judges evaluated the projects based on the following criteria: novelty, creativity, commercialization, growth, perfection level of the business model/plan, economic and social impact and significance.
The organizers will assess and select the most potential projects to incubate, train and guide to perfect the business model, thereby inviting investors.

The results are expected to be announced and awarded at the Dong Nai Science and Technology Festival 2021 which will be held soon.
