Official Launch of the “Talented Tourism Student – Season 4” Competition

“Do you believe that a competition can change your entire academic journey and career aspirations?”

That is exactly what the Talented Tourism Student Competition, organized by the Tourism and Travel Management major – Lac Hong University, has brought over the past three seasons.

In the context of the continuously developing tourism industry, which demands high-quality human resources, students not only need theoretical knowledge but also practical skills, creativity, and the ability to work with enterprises. To create a meaningful and experience-rich platform, The Faculty of Administration International Economics has successfully organized three seasons of the Talented Tourism Student Competition. This has been an opportunity for students to “shine” through their talents, confidence, and creative ideas in the tourism field.

What makes the competition special lies not only in the talent performances but also in its practical value. Students have the opportunity to learn directly from experts and enterprises in the tourism industry—those who are actively engaged in the labor market. This has turned the competition into an important bridge between the University and enterprises.

One of the outstanding participants is Vo Thi Thuy Van – a student of class 22QD111, who has participated in all three seasons. Van shared: “Each season has helped me grow. Not only did I improve my presentation and communication skills, but I also learned how to work in teams and handle real-life situations. In particular, receiving evaluations and feedback from enterprises helped me define my career orientation more clearly. And in Season 3, I was truly overwhelmed with joy when I won First Prize—an unforgettable milestone in my student life.”

More than just a competition, it has become a place that nurtures passion and encourages students to delve deeper into the tourism industry. Through each season, students can: enhance communication and presentation skills; develop event management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills; gain practical experience working with enterprises; and access new trends in the modern tourism industry, among others.

The success of the previous three seasons has affirmed that the Talented Tourism Student Competition is an event not to be missed. And now, Season 4 officially returns, promising a journey full of breakthroughs and practical experiences!
