    [FAIE] PhD Nguyen Van Tan Participates in the Seminar “Promoting Innovative Startup Activities among Lecturers and Students”

    On the morning of 3 October 2025, Dong Nai University hosted a seminar themed “Promoting Innovative Startup Activities among Lecturers and Students.” The program brought together experts, entrepreneurs, managers, lecturers, and students to share and discuss entrepreneurial pathways in the new context.

    Representing Lac Hong University, PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of The Faculty of Administration International Economics and Member of the National Innovative Startup Advisory Council – attended the seminar in the role of startup advisor. In his remarks, he emphasized:

    ✨ Students are “entrepreneurial seeds,” and the university is the incubation environment that enables ideas to germinate and grow.

    ✨ To succeed in entrepreneurship, students must be equipped with design thinking, creative skills, implementation tools, and especially a practical experiential environment.

    ✨ He also shared the challenges students face, from academic pressure to lack of experience, and affirmed the role of lecturers and universities as “investors and mentors” accompanying students on their entrepreneurial journey.

    👉 In addition, PhD Nguyen Van Tan, together with representatives of previously successful startup projects such as COHAFOOD pork sausage and LÁ BỒ ĐỀ THÊU, shared valuable insights on skills, experience, and the journey of turning ideas into practical products, inspiring students to confidently pursue entrepreneurship.

    Support from Enterprises and Government Agencies

    Representing the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association, Mr. Nguyen Duy Khuong – Vice President of the Association – stated that students and lecturers are key resources in startup competitions. The Association hopes for closer coordination from universities to identify and nurture potential projects.

    From the government sector, Mr. Lam Son Ha – Head of the Innovation Division, Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology – emphasized the role of connecting universities, enterprises, investors, and researchers. He also shared the province’s direction in organizing training and capacity-building programs for pupils and students, while bringing experts closer to provide support from the earliest stages of startup idea formation.

    The presence and contributions of PhD Nguyen Van Tan and Lac Hong University at the seminar demonstrate a spirit of partnership, leadership, and support for lecturers and students on their journey of innovative entrepreneurship. 🌟
