    [FAIE] Graduation Thesis Defense Council for the 2022 Cohort Students

    From October 25, 2025 to October 31, 2025, the Faculty of Administration – International Economics, Lac Hong University, organized the Graduation Thesis Defense Councils for students of the 2022 cohort. This annual activity plays a significant role in evaluating students’ academic performance, training outcomes, and their ability to apply practical knowledge after more than three years of study and experience at the university.

    In this round, the Faculty established 16 defense councils, including 9 councils managed by the Faculty and 7 councils organized in collaboration with corporate partners. The participation of enterprises provided more practical and objective perspectives in assessing students’ competencies.

    The enterprise councils included representatives from reputable organizations such as 911 Group Future Transport and Services Joint Stock Company, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank), the Admissions and Public Relations Center – Lac Hong University, Dong Nai Post Office, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB Bank), Super Speed Logistics, and BIDV Eastern Insurance Company.

    A total of 176 students participated in this defense session. Each student demonstrated serious investment and dedication through their thesis reports, which were developed based on specialized knowledge, internship experience, and continuous creativity. Notably, 14 students were offered official employment contracts by enterprises immediately after their internships, clearly demonstrating the effectiveness of the training model that integrates university education with industry collaboration pursued by the Faculty of Administration – International Economics.

    Academic Journey – A Milestone of Maturity

    After more than three years of study and practical experience in enterprises, the 2022 cohort completed their graduation theses—representing the result of continuous effort, combining academic knowledge with real-world experience.

    During the defense sessions, student groups presented their research results before evaluation councils consisting of supervising lecturers and enterprise representatives. Council members highly appreciated the students’ proactive attitude and their ability to flexibly apply knowledge to practical work contexts. Each thesis was not only an academic achievement but also a milestone marking students’ maturity, affirming the competence and confidence of students from the Faculty of Administration – International Economics as they step into their professional careers.

    Effort – Confidence – Affirming Personal Competence

    Beyond evaluating academic outcomes, the defense sessions also served as an important stepping stone for students to strengthen their professional mindset. Through feedback and critical discussions from lecturers and enterprise representatives, students further enhanced their analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and professional presentation abilities—essential competencies for entering the workforce after graduation.

    In particular, student Nguyen Phung Kim Khanh – Class 22QT111 shared that the thesis process helped deepen their understanding of their major, enterprises, and future career orientation. These experiences form a solid foundation for students to confidently integrate and develop within the modern labor market.

    The graduation thesis defense is clear evidence of the Faculty’s application-oriented training environment, closely connected with real-world practice and focused on output quality. Through this activity, students not only demonstrated academic achievements but also affirmed their adaptability and readiness to enter the professional world.

    The Faculty of Administration – International Economics, Lac Hong University continues to affirm its role in training high-quality human resources with creative thinking, a strong sense of responsibility, and integration competence—ready to undertake key positions in enterprises and society.
